Meet E-G-G Winner 2018: Eleonora Galosi

Curiosity is the cornerstone of good research.

“As you learn something more, it makes you more interested,” says Eleonora Galosi, postgraduate-MD and winner of the EFIC-Grünenthal Grant (E-G-G) 2018.

Eleonora’s winning project investigates different skin biopsy biomarkers and their role in diabetic neuropathy.

“The E-G-G allowed me to explore new techniques in both a research and clinical setting.”

With the grant, she is now able to dedicate more of her time on research and honing her skills.

Her passion for neurology and neuropathic pain lies in their complexity and her need for constant intellectual challenge.

Her tip for a winning project?

“Define your objectives and explain them in a simple way.”
