EFIC, the European Federation of 
Chapters of the International 
Association for the Study of Pain, 
is pleased to announce: 

   Research Grants
 For Clinical And Human
 Experimental Pain Research



  EFIC GRÜNENTHAL GRANT (EGG) FOR PAIN RESEARCH

 


These annual grants totalling € 100,000 from Grünenthal GmbH are aimed at supporting young scientists in carrying out innovative and exploratory clinical pain research projects in any country with an EFIC chapter (see www.EFIC.org).

The decision on the awarding of grants is made entirely by the EFIC Sub-Committee on Research.

Research Grants are intended for clinical and human experimental research projects on the subject of pain. Research proposals on animals, computer simulations etc. will not be considered.

Research grants are valued at up to € 25,000 per project. The duration of projects should not be longer than two years.



  DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION

 



The deadline for applications was reached 31st May 2009.
As in previous years many high-quality applications have been submitted to the EFIC Sub-Committee on Research.
Nomination of this year's winners is expected by end of August 2009.

This year's prize award ceremony will take place in Aachen/Germany on Friday, 4th December 2009.

The announcement for the EGG 2010 will be open from end of October 2009.
